Pitt School of Social Work is one of the top-ranked social work programs in the country. The 社会工作硕士 (MSW) program at UPJ campus is an in-person, part-time program that prepares students to engage in empirically supported and culturally competent advanced social work practice. It offers a specialization in direct practice with individuals, 家庭, 小团体, 有心理健康证书.
学生 with a BSW/BASW are granted advanced standing during the admission process and can receive up to 15 academic credits. The number of advanced standing credits granted depends on the comparability of the student’s undergraduate courses to this Program’s generalist courses and on the grades they earned in those undergraduate courses (i.e.，必须是“B”或更高的成绩).

学生 are eligible for a 15% tuition discount if they meet the following conditions:
学生 must be employed by either a non-profit or social service agency as a full-time employee for no fewer than 35 hours per week and work directly in a capacity with individuals, 家庭, 团体或社区.
学生 are not eligible for the discount if they are already receiving either tuition remission or reimbursement from Pitt or their employer.
